El pingüino
The medium I used in this piece was colored pencil. For this project, I had to choose one of the elements of art to express in an artwork, the element I chose was shape. I used mostly quadrilaterals. However, I'm not too fond of this piece. I feel like I could've done a better job with making the lines sharper.
This project, I chose a word, then found a way to express that word through a piece of artwork. The word I chose was "different." I believe this piece speaks for itself. The monster to the right is being picked on by the other monsters because he is different. I cut these characters out of paper and glued them to a Styrofoam type of material. Hella satisfied.
FINAL EXAM BLOG QUESTIONS:
1) My most successful project was the penguin that I drew using colored pencils. I believe this was my most successful piece because it is probably the only one that I did correctly following all of the rules provided by the teacher. This piece also has a lot of sentimental value because my girlfriend calls me a penguin.

2) If I could do one project over again differently, I would do the word project a second time around because I feel like it is one of my poopy pieces of work, and it wasn't very sturdy. It is now broken. I would do the word greed and make a dollar out of pennies. It would probably still be glued on the same material, except with super glue.
3) Two projects that I want to compare are the metaphor project and the word project. In my metaphor project I had a sword made of words from someone's mouth going into someone else's head, the metaphor being: "words kill," In the word project I had a reject monster walking away from a group of other monster's, the word being: different.
